Mollelnjewelry FAQ

Product Quality & Craftsmanship

At Mollein Jewelry, every ring is born from the seamless fusion of cutting-edge precision technology and masterful handcraftsmanship. Our seasoned artisans oversee critical stages—from meticulous stone setting and mirror polishing to rigorous final inspection—ensuring uncompromising accuracy, exceptional comfort, and enduring quality. Each ring is meticulously crafted from scratch to your exact specifications, resulting in a one-of-a-kind treasure that is uniquely yours.

At MollelnJewelry, all rings are meticulously crafted from premium solid base metals, including 925 sterling silver, 10K, 14K, 18K gold, and platinum.
To offer you a diverse palette of hues—such as yellow gold, white gold, or rose gold—we apply a high-quality, durable plating to achieve your desired finish. For instance, a sterling silver ring finished in gold will undergo gold plating, while a gold ring finished in silver tone will be plated accordingly. This process ensures exceptional design flexibility without compromising on durability or luster.
Notably, platinum rings remain unplated, as this noble metal naturally retains its brilliant, enduring color over time.

At Molleln Jewelry, we proudly feature both natural and lab-grown gemstones—including moissanite, lab-grown diamonds, and carefully curated natural gemstones. Every stone is meticulously selected for exceptional clarity, durability, and everyday wearability, ensuring enduring brilliance and lasting quality.

At Molleln Jewelry, stone security is paramount. We employ reinforced setting techniques, meticulously tailored to each ring’s unique metal type and design. Our superior craftsmanship significantly reduces the risk of stones loosening or falling out during daily wear, offering greater peace of mind compared to standard settings.

With proper care, your gemstones and precious metals will retain their timeless beauty for years to come. Over time, daily wear may naturally create subtle surface marks on metals, while plated finishes may gently evolve. Regular cleaning and occasional professional maintenance will help preserve their radiant shine and exquisite appearance.

Beyond exceptional materials and design, we prioritize precision setting, seamless finishing, and perfectly balanced structure. Paired with our rigorous quality control and dedicated aftercare support, this ensures your ring remains secure and exquisitely beautiful for years to come.

Metals & Materials

Molleln Jewelry rings are made with high-quality metals, including 925 sterling silver, 10K, 14K, and 18K solid gold, plus platinum (silver-toned). Every metal is carefully chosen for beauty, durability, and comfortable daily wear.

Our rings are made from solid base metals like sterling silver and solid gold. Depending on the color you select—gold, silver, or rose gold—we may use electroplating to create your preferred finish.
For example, a silver‑toned ring can be gold or rose‑gold plated, and a gold‑toned ring can be plated in silver or rose gold if you wish. Platinum is not plated. All plating is professionally done for durability and a consistent look.

Yes, gold‑plated sterling silver jewelry may gradually wear over time, which is normal in the jewelry industry.Sterling silver is naturally white. To create a yellow gold look, a thin layer of real gold (about 0.03 micron) is electroplated onto the silver. We also add an E‑coating protective layer to help slow wear. But because the plating is very thin, it can still wear down over time.Skin oils, sweat, cosmetics, chemicals, and daily activities—like wearing rings while cleaning—can speed up plating fading, eventually showing the natural silver color underneath.

Rhodium‑plated silver is a great choice if you like a silver‑tone look. Since both silver and rhodium are white, any color changes will be much less obvious.
If you want yellow gold that lasts, we suggest solid K gold. It’s naturally yellow, so it doesn’t need plating and won’t fade over time.

We use skin-friendly materials and avoid harmful substances like nickel whenever possible. Most customers with sensitive skin wear our rings comfortably daily. If you have specific metal sensitivities, contact us before ordering for the best advice. What is the difference between 10K, 14K, and 18K gold? The difference is in gold purity and durability:

  • 10K gold is the most durable and wear-resistant, with a lighter gold color.
  • 14K gold balances durability and rich color, great for everyday wear.
  • 18K gold has a deeper, warmer gold tone and higher purity—popular for fine jewelry, but a bit softer.

Yes. All MollelnJewelry designs are available in multiple metal options, so you can choose based on color, budget, and lifestyle. Availability may vary by design structure and gemstone setting.

Yes. Harder alloys like 10K and 14K gold and platinum are generally more scratch and deformation resistant. Softer metals such as 18K gold offer a richer color but may wear slightly faster over time. We help customers choose the best metal based on how they plan to wear the ring.
